Dairy Days 2012

The Summer has officially kicked off with Dairy Days, down in Gunnison Utah.  YeeHaw......

Here is our little family with the Dairy Days Mascot!

What else do you expect them to serve at "Dairy Days"

Oh man, here is Kola and Rosie lining up to catch a rooster.  If you catch the rooster you keep the rooster, rules are that simple.  This was hilarious to watch, Rosie chickened out at the last second and didn't run but Kola tried his hardest.  The older kids in his age group just over powered the 3 and 4 year olds.  They did multiple age groups and even had one for the parents it was great.

Sad to say, we are not new owners of a Rooster.

This video was taken with my camera so I could zoom in on the kids, but you can see at the end as the kids just bomb-bard the poor thing till it has no place to go.

The kid next to Kola at the start is the one who ends up catching it.

And of course, what would Dairy Days be if there wasn't a tractor for Kola to play on!

This poor cow was a trooper; Kola, Andrey, and Nusa all got to try milking her.  Afterwards Kola walked up in front and said thanks.

These poor things are suppose to be cows.  So, every half an hour they would have a drawing and if your name was called you would get to hit open a pinata and win prizes.  I have to give it to the football team they did a great job making over 50 of these odd looking cows.

Out of all our family good old Grandma Janet's name gets called.

There was a lot of stuff going on here at Dairy Days: jump houses, a water slide for the kids, ice cream making, dunk booth, milk a cow, a petting zoo, catch a rooster, hitting milk cartons, and they had a ping-pong ball drop.  There were some vendors there to selling different items.  My dad had also entered us into the softball tournament it was double elimination, the first day was round-robin and we split 1-1 then in the actual tournament on the 2nd day we won 3 and lost 2.  Next year watch out we will have a sweet team put together!
